The North Shore BIA are a key partner in solution finding for our business community.
We work on behalf of you by being a partner in the Community Action Team Task Force, Our Executive Director Chairs the Safe and Secure Kamloops Working Group; we liaise with community organizations, advocating for enhancements and programs that increase perceptive safety.

CAP Team North Shore
The CAP North Shore team has being cancelled for 2020: Our focus will be on directing feedback and issues directly to the RCMP, thorugh the portal, or agencies via the contact information found in these pages.
Violent Issues
Please call the RCMP at 911 for violent issues which pose potential risk to human safety or have the potential to damage property in excess of 5,000.00. For non-emergency issues, where you wish to have RCMP respond, please call 250.828.3000.

Interior Health, The City Of Kamloops, both BIAs and community partners are all working to minimize the impacts of sharps in our communities. Resources are available for Business and Community leaders to act, to raise awareness and to reach out as required.

Video Surveillance Guidelines

Graffiti
Graffiti on public property can be resolved by the Graffiti Task Force. The task force can also cover graffiti on private property for a very reasonable fee. Find more information through this link.
Graffiti Proof Bins.
The NSBIA has partnered with the City of Kamloops to provide commercial property owners with decorative Bins to replace those used by commercial clients of the City. the NSBIA provides 5 bins per year, and they are provided on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to order your own bin, you can do so by contacting jeremy@nsbia.com.
Lighting Programs (coming soon)
We are working with potential partners to provide affordable lighting solutions to business for energy conservation, security and other needs.
Mural Programs
In 2020, the NSBIA will be working with our partners on a new Mural Program for the entire Shore. If you are a business owner who would like to participate, fill out the Mural interest form (coming soon) and submit it to jeremy@nsbia.com.
PRIDE on the Shore program
Each Spring and Fall the BIA will pay up to 50% of the cost of pressure washing or cleaning the signs, front, and sidewalk of your business to a maximum of $250.00. Dates and considerations for the program are announced in the member newsletter in March and September.
