Each year, Kamloops-based businesses are invited to participate in this important annual survey designed to gather direct feedback on how crime, street-level social issues, and related disruptions are affecting day-to-day business operations. Your experiences—whether related to theft, vandalism, security costs, staff and customer safety concerns, or impacts on customer traffic—are critical to helping us understand the full scope of challenges facing our commercial areas.

This survey is a joint initiative supported by Kamloops’ Business Associations and is a key tool in advocating for better supports, smarter solutions, and more responsive public policy. The data collected is shared with government leaders at all levels—municipal, provincial, and federal—and helps guide meaningful dialogue with first responders, outreach organizations, and city officials.

Beyond simply documenting the issues, the Impacts 2025 Survey drives action. Each fall, we convene local response leaders to review your input and identify collaborative strategies that can be implemented in the year ahead to reduce harm and improve the overall health and safety of Kamloops’ business districts.

The Impacts 2025 Survey will be open from September 1 to 29, 2025.
Survey results will be analyzed and compiled into a comprehensive report by the end of October. This report will then be distributed to local leadership and stakeholders starting in November.
